*Sean Tucker and Josh Hayes were hard to decide to keep or send to practice roster. Kieft is done-zo.

*Tucker has done good, but he cant catch like Edmonds or block at all. And RBs get hurt a ton through the year, if Edmonds was on the practice roster, he would be stolen either instantly when he gets sent down or when a RB gets hurt mid season. I dont think Canales will touch Tucker. The Panthers have a lot of backs already. Miles Sanders is their RB3.

*I chose Isaac over Hayes cuz we need another outside CB because Dean gets hurt a lot. Hayes really cant play outside CB even though he was listed as outside CB last year at the start of the year. Hayes cant play slot very well (or we would not have drafted Tykee and signed free agent Tavierre Thomas). Hayes cant hit as well as Merriweather as a SS. So I say Hayes will be sent down.

*Kieft is probably better than Culp. But Culp has so much potential with his speed. And if Culp goes down, u can bet he is getting stolen by many teams in the NFL. If Kieft goes down, then the only team that maybe (but I am not sure he would) steal him would be Panthers only cuz Canales is familar with him.

I guess I should say my iffy picks of Tucker and Hayes could beat out Edmonds and Merriweather. It would be weird just letting Edmonds go for free esp when the Bucs wanted him back by resigning him earlier in the offseason. But he really doesnt do much other than get injured all the time. Also, it would be weird letting Merriweather go esp when the Bucs have so many FS and only 1 SS. (Tavierre Thomas, Izien, Tykee Smith are more nickels/FS than SS) Hmm, I guess the Bucs could just move Winfield to SS if Whitehead gets injured so that could work.

I just realized Wolford doesnt make sense since they can always just move him up from practice roster if there’s an injury in the middle of the game. Maybe Hayes gets in with Wolford having to be displaced.

I saw that Ernest Brown guy made a play on the highlights. Maybe he makes the 53. Anything is possible.

I never heard anything about Sterling Sheppard in the entire preseason. People freaked out when I said his signing wasnt that special on Real Bucs Talk. Next thing u know hes hurt AGAIN. 🙂  It wouldnt surprise me if he goes.

K. I cant think of anything else I may have forgot. Any other thoughts, guys?

@al-bundy-fyer 2 players can be put on IR without having to be on the 53 first, also 4 players can be protected on the practice squad each week, so maybe Edmonds goes on IR or the practice squad to start, Wolford was on practice squad last year

Per Greg Auman: “Bowles says WR Rakim Jarrett and RB Chase Edmonds will likely start the season on injured reserve.”

@bluesmiller I have been singing the praises of Rakim Jarrett, wanting to see more snaps from him. This is not the way to do it. Get out on the field, Rakim!

@bluesmiller Ya. I did say Wolford will go down.

I am not really talking about IR cuz if a team puts a player in IR, they want the player still. It is just how they plan to manage his situation after he comes off IR.

@al-bundy-fyer When a player goes on IR they have to stay out for 4 games. There is a rule change this year that you can put 2 players on IR before they are on the 53 man roster. So it sounds like Jarrett and Edmonds will be out for 4 weeks.

@bluesmiller I just saw NFLPA blocked the 3rd QB rule. Poor Wolford. I bet hes not that happy about it.

@al-bundy-fyer Long Snapper Zach Triner was cut, I guess it’s Evan Deckers at LS

@bluesmiller Ya, I saw that about Triner.

Another guy ppl keep talking about is this CJ Brewer. He mustve really impressed. I think it was Greg Auman who also said Cody Thompson and Kameron Johnson were a lock. I dunno. Mind u these guys are really far down the depth chart so not sure how much it all matters in the end.

@al-bundy-fyer I’ve seen Kameron Johnson listed as backup punt and kick returner, he made the 53

@al-bundy-fyer Cody Thompson didn’t make the team as they only went with 5 WR and 4 TE

Ko Kieft made the team

Josh Hayes also made the 53,

Keenan Isaac, Sterling Shepard, and Mike Greene did not

@bluesmiller Ya, thats crazy they have 4 less than average TEs on the team lol. And I also saw they are carrying 11 secondary guys which is wild.
